Course Description
The INTERNSHIP PROGRAM IN SALERNO is designed to provide students with real work experience.
The program includes a LANGUAGE PREPARATION COURSE and an unpaid internship with accurately selected Italian companies. Placements are made on a case-by-case basis, influenced by previous work experience, education, and level of Italian, and can be found in a large variety of fields:
Participants can choose from the following sectors:
Tourism: hotels, information points, travel agencies, language schools
Restaurants, pizzerias and bakeries
Sales employee
Import
Export trade
Textile and Leather: clothes manufacturing, dressmaking workshops
Arts & Crafts: ceramics, terracotta, sculpture
Restoration: workshops for wood, painting and stones
Professional offices: architects, engineers, lawyers
Social/intercultural (master, social worker). caseificio
We assist students in selecting the internship company according to curriculum vitae and interests. We arrange meetings with the internship coordinator to plan the work experience.
We assist students in obtaining a permit of stay and to have contact agreement with the selected company. We monitor internship experience together with the internship company.
During the internship experience, students are informed of insurance which covers workplace accidents (at an extra cost).
At the end of your internship program students receive a certificate of attendance stating the Italian proficiency and the acquired internship experience.
