Accademia Italiana is an Italian Language and Culture Centre, established in 1997. Our Italian language school boasts extensive experience in the field of Teaching Italian as a Second Language/Foreign Language (L2/FL) and it is one of the most accredited institutions in Italy. With both schools in Salerno (since 1997) and in Naples (since 2023), we welcome thousands of international students who regularly choose our institute for the high quality of its courses and programs and its optimal locations in Salerno and Naples with their wonderful surroundings, such as the Amalfi Coast (Vietri Sul Mare, Maiori, Minori, Amalfi, Positano, Sorrento, Capri, Ischia, etc.) and the towns of Caserta, Paestum, and Pompeii, to name a few.
Furthermore, our institution is recognised by the Italian Ministry of Education (p.a. 368/11) as an Official Accredited Training Center for Teachers (DM 170/2016). It is also recognized by the University for Foreigners of Siena and the University for Foreigners of Perugia as an Official Examination Center for the official Italian certifications of CELI, CILS, and DITALS. Accademia Italiana is an official member of the International Association of Language Centres (IALC) and the Italian Association of Schools of Italian as Second Language (ASILS), in addition to several partnerships with international universities, colleges, and high schools across the world.
Both our schools are equipped with multimedia classrooms connected to the internet. Staff and teachers are highly qualified, with specialisation in teaching Italian as a foreign language. Our goal is to provide a unique learning experience for all students in an optimal location where they can easily and simultaneously incorporate the study of the Italian language with a wide range of courses and activities that will also increase their knowledge of Italian culture.
